Outdoor Urban Walk About Family Session, Taichung Taiwan

I’d had the opportunity to work with this Momma and her son for some location scouting photography sessions when he was a bit younger, and was super excited to photograph the whole family.

They are enjoying the city life that so differs from their life back home in the US, so we wanted to incorporate their daily city exploratory walks into their photo session. Even though the session was threatened by overcast skies and rain, we braved the elements and hit the pavement...and I’m so glad that we did.

We let their son just explore little interesting locations and play, while also trying to capture the vibe of where they live. They are planning an in-city relocation so we wanted to photograph their favorite spots as we knew that they would be changing soon.

Photographing clients in this laid back style of just going on an evening walk is so relaxing for the families, and fun for the kids.
